Welcome to Sacopee Valley Elementary School

Sacopee Valley Elementary School serves PK-3 students and families from Baldwin, Cornish, Hiram, Parsonsfield, and Porter, Maine in MSAD #55. We believe that social and academic learning are of equal importance as children grow and develop. At SVES we strive to provide all students with a safe, nurturing, and joyful learning environment that encourages all children to take risks, and achieve academic and social goals.

Our mission is to be a community of lifelong learners where all are challenged to become clear and effective communicators, creative problem solvers, quality workers, and involved citizens. Staff regularly participates in district-wide professional learning and a school-based focus on instruction to continually improve student achievement.

We strive to work in partnership with families and encourage parents to be active participants in their child's education. You can show this be volunteering, attending school functions, and supporting your student with learning outside of the school day.
